Position Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic, commercially astute Renewal Account Manager (Partner Business) to lead our indirect channel customer retention operations in the United States. In this highly critical account management seat, you will hold complete accountability for partner and indirect client retention, managing the full contract renewal negotiation lifecycle end-to-end. Moving far beyond administrative renewals, you will engineer custom pricing matrices and upsell strategies across diverse SaaS billing models to protect and expand our annual recurring revenue (ARR). This role demands an expert relationship builder who can smoothly collaborate with cross-functional internal units and present data-backed value vectors directly to senior client executives (CEOs, CTOs, and CFOs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Retention Lifecycle Ownership: Govern the entire renewal loop for resell partners and indirect customer accounts, driving successful contract closures to meet defined individual and team retention goals.
  • Strategic Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate all facets of renewal contracts, including multi-year options, tiered pricing structures, and master service terms to secure win/win commercial outcomes.
  • SaaS Revenue Expansion: Safeguard recurring revenue streams and identify expansion hooks, leveraging customer health, adoption telemetry, and product insights to drive incremental tool adoption.
  • Pipeline Forecasting & Risk Mitigation: Maintain highly precise renewal forecasts inside modern CRM frameworks, tracking pipeline health, flagging downsell risks, and communicating mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Quote-to-Close Administration: Formulate and manage the end-to-end quote-to-close process utilizing native Salesforce CRM and CPQ tools, assembling complex pricing models in Excel.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely alongside internal Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance divisions to streamline contract approvals and close operational bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of verified professional history running enterprise software contract negotiations, customer renewals, or channel account management inside a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep operational exposure navigating a variety of SaaS monetization metrics, specifically including subscription-based, usage-based, and hybrid billing models.
  • Advanced, hands-on pipeline mastery utilizing Salesforce CRM or equivalent enterprise customer success platforms.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation mechanics, with a documented history of communicating effectively with senior enterprise stakeholders (CEOs, CTOs, and CFOs).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented executor, with the capacity to pivot across multiple high-stakes negotiations simultaneously and maintain velocity under incomplete data.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent reference-backed work experience).
  • Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational infrastructure flexibility open exclusively to qualified professionals permanently residing within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior commercial experience operating natively within customer success, partner success, or channel sales environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise contact center software ecosystems, service delivery environments, or workforce optimization tools.
  • Exposure to managing public sector or government accounts under strict regulatory compliance parameters.

What We Offer

  • The exceptional technical runway to drive retention models for a NASDAQ-listed AI and cloud market leader managing billions of global transactions.
  • Highly competitive corporate base salary tiers supplemented by an impactful, performance-driven bonus framework.
  • Profound work-from-home remote autonomy backed by a flexible, results-oriented work environment.
  • Direct flat-organization visibility with an un-siloed path to quickly scale your professional responsibilities and expand your career milestones.
