Kodland
View Company ProfileKodland (operating under kodland.org and kodland.tech) is an international EdTech corporation, interactive digital education platform, and online coding and design school engineered for children and teenagers aged 8 to 17. Founded in 2018, the venture-backed platform has scaled rapidly, securing over $9 million in institutional funding to aggressively expand its decentralized educational footprint across more than 14 countries spanning Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Kodland operates on a deep pedagogical philosophy that turns children from passive technology consumers into active digital creators—utilizing game mechanics, project-oriented workflows, and live peer interaction instead of typical grading and abstract textbook drills. The school offers an extensive, multi-tier curriculum structured across four core pillars: Programming (progressing from visual block-based languages to real-world deployment in Python, JavaScript, Roblox, Scratch, and Unity), Digital Art & Design (encompassing graphic design, UI/UX layouts, and After Effects video animation), Drawing, and Math & Logic. Classes are delivered through Kodland's proprietary, web-based Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which hosts live, small-group or individual live video mentorship rooms, interactive development environments, and structured homework feedback mechanisms. Every student concludes their study pathway by building, pitching, and launching an original application, game, or web portal before their peer group. Operating with a massive, fully remote global workforce of over 2,000 corporate employees and 1,000 professional software developers and educators, the enterprise maintains an executive presence through its operational entities like Odreval Limited in Nicosia, Cyprus. Kodland stands as a global benchmark in youth digital literacy—replacing isolated, passive screen time with high-connection, mentor-guided technical training for the future digital economy.
