Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-fluent, and performance-minded Remote Director of GTM Excellence (m/f/d) to architect, operationalize, and scale our global commercial engine across our dual SMB and Enterprise sales branches. Sitting at the strategic intersection of process optimization, data engineering, and AI tool orchestration, this is a senior individual contributor (IC) role reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Shifting completely away from routine standalone text copywriting, manual office spreadsheet transcription, or low-level inbound helpdesk customer ticketing, you will manage an active sales playbook automation, quota blueprinting, and revenue predictability laboratory. Partnering closely with local Commercial Directors (CDs) and a dedicated GTM AI Engineer, you will design the end-to-end operational framework that our international sales squads run within. This position requires an established B2B SaaS commercial authority with 7+ years of experience who structures sales motions fluidly natively using Sales Representative and revenue enablement methodologies, has personally carried a frontline quota, designs automated AI-agent workflows to bridge execution gaps, and monitors forecasting cadences with high discipline to drive global productivity across multiple regional targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Operating System Design: Formulate, map, and document hyper-clear sales flows and stages for both SMB and Enterprise divisions, ensuring absolute alignment natively utilizing Sales Representative frameworks.
- AI-Agent Workflow Orchestration: Partner alongside our dedicated GTM AI Engineer to define, deploy, and monitor specialized AI agents and RevOps automated tools that eliminate manual tasks and maximize high-value human touchpoints.
- Enterprise Sales HARDENING & Planning: Complete the operational rollout of our Enterprise motion, establishing rigid account planning frameworks, multi-stakeholder mapping criteria, and inbound/outbound pipeline boundaries.
- Forecasting Governance & Pipeline Inspection: Define and deploy global sales forecasting methodologies, setting up automated pipeline evaluation loops and strict review cadences to improve contract predictability.
- Scalable Enablement & Onboarding Infrastructure: Own the global commercial enablement infrastructure, building interactive, living playbooks that feed AI workflows to train new Lead Generators and Account Executives.
- Strategic CCO Advisory & Collaboration: Serve as the key commercial leadership backup and strategic thinking partner to the CCO, collaborating with RevOps and Data cells to audit performance trends.
- Compensation & Behavior Alignment: Provide critical design inputs for variable sales commission models, ensuring global incentive payouts drive pipeline discipline and match geographic GTM goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 7+ years of proven professional history operating inside a B2B SaaS Sales Leadership, Head of Revenue Operations, Commercial Enablement Principal, or closely matching tech growth role holding direct revenue and forecasting accountability.
- Frontline Quota-Carrying Background: Demonstrated history having personally carried an individual sales quota or directly led quota-carrying frontline sales teams, holding deep mastery of field-level pressures and trade-offs.
- Proven background building, executing, and optimizing end-to-end commercial pipelines within high-growth scaling SaaS environments (ideally expanding from $20M to $100M ARR scales).
- Hands-on experience identifying, scoping, and integrating automated systems, web workflow tools, or generative AI-agent pipelines within a commercial sales stack.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication strengths in English, with an established capacity to challenge, influence, and drive adoption among senior stakeholders without formal hierarchical authority.
- Location Context: Position operates under 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified commercial strategists residing permanently within Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, or the United Kingdom.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior commercial strategy or sales leadership history operating inside the Hospitality Technology (HotelTech), TravelTech, or SMB-focused SaaS sectors.
- Multi-regional commercial background, with an established understanding of how enterprise dynamics differ across EU, NA, and APAC territories.
- Grounded familiarity with modern variable incentive compensation plan design, automated text generation tools, and advanced CRM infrastructure routing.
