Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, metrics-driven Regional Supply Manager to join our core Supply Chain division in a full-time, in-market remote capacity. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Management, you will claim complete operational stewardship over regional supply chain networks, logistics pipelines, and distribution centers across the Eastern or Central territories. Moving past traditional shipping templates, you will build complex 3-year Net Present Value (NPV) financial forecasts, monitor real-time supplier allocations, and enforce zero-defect data integrity through systematic purchasing audits. This role demands a seasoned procurement analyst who can seamlessly collaborate between farmers and distributors, implement modern demand-forecasting software, and champion regenerative agriculture practices while traveling extensively (50%) across the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Funnel Supply Chain Oversight: Direct and optimize regional logistics networks, encompassing produce channels, grocery management, smallwares distribution, and last-mile transport infrastructure.
  • Quantitative Financial Planning: Manage multi-tier cost structures, aligning regional Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) metrics with enterprise financial targets to secure a minimum of 5% annual cost savings.
  • Robust Business Case Formulation: Formulate comprehensive, 36-period forward supply management projections, building rigorous data models ensuring positive Net Present Value (NPV) benchmarks.
  • Real-Time Inventory Calibration: Track and manage regional inventory positions leveraging tracking visibility software to support seasonal promotions, product tests, and trading partner phase-in loops.
  • Third-Party Distributor Auditing: Review distributor performance scorecards regularly, enforcing a minimum 98% Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence rate alongside case-fill and perfect order compliance.
  • Purchasing Data Integrity Governance: Supervise regional procurement transactions, running routine data validations and compliance audits to safeguard tracking transparency across the supply ledger.
  • Sustainability & Traceability Integration: Execute sustainable logistics initiatives, auditing carbon reduction matrices to support a targeted 10% annual reduction in Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional history running regional supply chain management, complex logistics coordination, industrial distribution, or enterprise procurement operations.
  • Advanced analytical literacy, with a proven history utilizing integrated logistics, inventory management tools, and transportation forecasting systems.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts, highlighting a background structuring multi-year cost targets, supplier agreements, or operational dashboards.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with an expert capacity to influence cross-functional technical teams and external agricultural partners.
  • Location & Mobility Context: Full-time remote parameters tailored for qualified supply managers permanently residing within their designated regional market (Eastern or Central US zones), with a rigid requirement for extensive travel (50%).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience managing logistics networks or perishable goods distribution within a high-volume restaurant system, food tech startup, or large-scale grocery marketplace.
  • Functional knowledge of regenerative agriculture metrics, animal welfare compliance standards, or food service traceability technologies.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma methodology workflows or continuous quality improvement deployment cycles.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Location-Calibrated Compensation: An attractive starting annual base salary range of $90,000 – $119,000 USD, tailored transparently to evaluate your technical background, domain skillset, and portfolio results.
  • The exceptional professional runway to directly direct and green-light the supply chain structures powering a generational healthy food ecosystem.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering high lifestyle autonomy, combined with regular, hands-on market interaction.
  • Comprehensive health insurance protections encompassing three modern medical plan options, premium dental care, and vision protection frameworks.
  • Access to a flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) plan, immediate 401(k) retirement matching structures, employee HSA/FSA choices, and a steady stream of complimentary greens and free Sweetgreen swag.
