The Role

As a QA Engineer at CoverGo, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform manual testing on new technologies to identify and resolve quality process issues with minimal supervision.
• Write test scenarios and execute them during the testing process.
• Identify bugs and report them using a detailed bug template, ensuring developers can investigate effectively.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate request/response behavior.
• Report status updates to cross-functional teams and contribute to problem-solving.
• Provide proactive support to the team and continuously refine your testing skills for greater impact.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in manual testing tools and procedures within an agile environment.
• Hands-on experience in manual API testing, including validating endpoints, status codes, and response payloads using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• A deep understanding of QA theory and the software development life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of lean/agile QA methodologies.
• Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting innovative testing approaches.
• Ability to share new ideas and adapt to changing circumstances.
