About Us: At Prompt, we are leading the charge in transforming healthcare with innovative B2B enterprise software solutions tailored for rehab therapy businesses. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes and streamline workflows for rehab therapy teams by harnessing the power of advanced technology. Outpatient rehab organizations use our software to treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste, digitizing a paper-heavy industry and enabling smart, high-impact clinical environments.

Position Overview

We are looking for an ambitious, high-performing QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance cell under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open across the United States. In this business-critical software verification seat, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the consistency, reliability, and precision of our enterprise clinical workflows before they reach our users. Shifting completely away from non-regulated administrative transcription filing, generic standalone copy drafting loops, or basic front-end layout configuration shifts, you will operate an active functional validation, exploratory bug hunting, and AI-enabled product feature testing laboratory—partnering closely across embedded Product Management, Development, and UX Design squads. This position requires an analytical self-starter with 1-3 years of history who guides system stability fluidly natively using QA Engineer paradigms, executes rigorous functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance scripts, reviews AI outputs for unintended behaviors, manages test backlogs systematically using automated agentic productivity toollines, and proactively communicates tradeoffs or risks to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Manual Testing Governance: Design, execute, and oversee comprehensive manual testing programs—including functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance workflows—on new and existing platform features natively utilizing QA Engineer methodologies.
  • AI-Enabled Feature Validation: Build and execute specialized testing strategies to evaluate AI-powered application features for accuracy, usability bounds, hidden edge cases, and hallucinations.
  • Agentic Toolchain Instrumentation: Leverage advanced AI-assisted workflows and prompt-driven frameworks to accelerate test plan creation, automate test case generation, and maximize overall exploratory coverage profiles.
  • Triage & Clear Bug Reporting: Identify, isolate, and systematically document software defects within enterprise tracking databases, providing actionable technical context to development cells to drive rapid remediation.
  • Cross-Functional Quality Alignment: Partner directly across Product, Engineering, and Design teams to review technical requirements, participate in feature scope reviews, and maintain clear quality standards.
  • Risk & Dependency Communication: Plan and prioritize daily testing matrices based on product risk and business impact, proactively flagging blockers, timelines, and execution dependencies to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Test Artifact Documentation: Author, maintain, and structure canonical repositories of test plans, cases, validation logs, and execution matrices to ensure audit-readiness across healthcare parameters.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of proven professional history operating inside a QA Analyst, Software Tester, System Validation Specialist, or closely related technical application verification capacity.
  • Expert Manual Testing Command: Thorough production history utilizing diverse manual testing techniques (functional, component, regression, and smoke testing) across complex web applications.
  • Demonstrated technical interest or practical history evaluating AI-enabled outputs, handling prompt-based validation workflows, or leveraging agentic productivity tools.
  • Highly structural documentation habits, with an established ability to write crisp, clear, and reproducible bug reports and technical test plans.
  • Exceptional analytical troubleshooting strengths in English, with a strong high-performance mindset centered on ownership, urgency, and independent execution.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified software quality assurance professionals residing permanently within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience or structural domain familiarity verifying software platforms inside the healthcare SaaS, rehab therapy, Electronic Health Record (EHR), or regulated compliance spaces.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, microservice interfaces, API verification platforms, and structural database query scripts (including basic proficiency writing SQL statements).
  • Basic conceptual knowledge or exposure to automated end-to-end component frameworks, such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress nodes.
  • Possess a formal Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative technical stream.

What We Offer

  • Highly Competitive US HealthTech Compensation Matrix: An attractive annual base salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 USD matched to your specific QA engineering background, supplemented by potential equity compensation for outstanding performance.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure freedom across the United States, giving you maximum location flexibility paired with flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) structures.
  • Direct Healthcare Transformation Impact: Unique professional growth milestones achieved by ensuring the clinical software layers relied upon by thousands of therapists to treat patients remain error-free.
  • Comprehensive health preservation benefits, providing high-tier Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage frameworks alongside company-paid disability and life insurance, and family/medical leave allowances.
  • Access to corporate 401(k) structures, FSA/DCA options, commuter perks, complimentary digital fitness subscriptions, and full access to our premium recovery suite at HQ (including a cold plunge, sauna, and shower setups).
