The Role

The Professional Development Coordinator (PDC) role is to support a growing portfolio of professional development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a needs-based professional development strategy for the HALO Angola programme.
• Implement HALO Angola’s professional development strategy, including the development and formalisation of partnership arrangements with training schools and academies.
• Identify opportunity areas for expanding the staff training offer on the programme.
• Recruit, train, and manage professional development staff, including HALO teachers.
• Monitor and measure the impact and effectiveness of the professional development strategy.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in management at an academic or training centre/school.
• Qualification or degree in teaching (preferably adult focussed learning).
