As a Product Specialist, you will empower vulnerable clients by conducting seating assessments in homes, care homes, and hospitals. You will use assessment chairs (including bariatric chairs) and beds as required, ensuring clients receive the best possible outcome while bringing dignity to their everyday lives.

The Role

You will be the face of Accora, providing exceptional service and ensuring clients receive the best products and value for their money. Your commitment to empathy and professionalism will be central to your role, as you prioritize customer needs over sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct seating assessments via home visits, care homes, and hospitals
  • Deliver demonstration/training sessions and presentations to prescribers as directed
  • Manage your diary to facilitate client visits and assessments
  • Oversee stock management to ensure scheduled jobs are completed
  • Assist colleagues with deliveries of chairs and beds
  • Complete administrative tasks, including following up on quotations and recording assessment outcomes
  • Ensure clients receive excellent customer service from Accora
  • Support the sales team to maximize sales activity
  • Help develop new areas of business and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Participate in product development by providing feedback for new product launches
  • Attend regular video conferences with head office and face-to-face meetings every 6 months
  • Retain and maintain demonstration equipment in good condition
  • Adhere to quality and regulatory requirements at all times
  • Complete required training, including health and safety training
  • Maintain excellent personal appearance and hygiene

Requirements

Qualifications and Training:

  • Qualification to A-level standard or equivalent

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Sales experience
  • Experience working alone
  • Face-to-face customer experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective and confident communication skills with excellent English proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Initiative in challenging situations
  • Good ICT skills for CRM activities including phone calls, events, and emails

Other Requirements:

  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help people
  • Flexibility to manage multiple and varying duties concurrently
  • Positive, confident, and determined approach
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Reliability
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Willingness to stay overnight in hotels for travel efficiency
  • Able to pass a basic DBS check
