What we're doing:
Owning a home is a foundational part of building financial security and wealth in America. However, the tools and technology that support homeownership are antiquated, dependent on things like fax machines, handwritten documentation, and hours of manual review.
We're here to change it.
Vesta was founded to rebuild the mortgage loan origination system from the ground up. Our founding belief is that the future of mortgage lending will be a fully automated process. Today, our AI-augmented platform makes that a reality. Our mission is to build a platform where AI isn’t just an add-on, but the core engine that transforms how a loan is manufactured.
Who we are:
Our founding team has experience in the financial industry, having worked at Blend to create modern cloud infrastructure for banks. Now, with Vesta, they are transforming the mortgage industry by creating the most flexible, open, and automated origination experience for financial institutions and their customers.
We've raised $55M from top-tier investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures, Conversion Capital, Zigg Capital, and Index Ventures.
We believe our team is our greatest competitive advantage and take pride in having a team of exceptional humans. We value humility, empathy, self-awareness, and an orientation towards action.
About the role:
Vesta has found product-market fit, and the team is growing fast. As we grow, it gets harder to keep the people who build the product connected to the people who work with customers every day. You'll own that connection, in both directions, by designing the processes that make it work.
What you'll own:
From product to customer-facing teams: Design and run the processes that keep customer-facing teams informed about what's shipping, what's changing, and why. This includes launch readiness, release notes, roadmap updates, and enablement for implementations, support, and sales. You'll also provide early access to customers and close the loop on how each launch went.
From customer-facing teams to product: Design and run the intake process for customer issues, requests, and feedback from implementations, support, and sales. Ensure they are captured, triaged, routed to the right product manager with the necessary context, and that those who raised them hear back on what happened. You'll spot patterns across customers and ensure the product development team sees them.
AI-powered workflows: Build and maintain the agents and automations that keep information moving in both directions (triage, release notes, roadmaps, feedback synthesis) and turn them into reusable patterns the whole company relies on.
In your first few months, you might:
- Build a launch-readiness process and run the next major release through it.
- Set up a clear path for customer issues and requests to reach the right product manager, and for answers to flow back to the person who asked.
- Ship an AI workflow that turns what's shipping into release notes and briefings for implementations, support, and sales.
Who you are:
- You're proactive and resourceful. You move without being told and find a way through ambiguity and blockers.
- You're a strong process designer. You've designed cross-team processes from scratch, owned them end-to-end, and they kept working after you stepped away.
- You're a systems thinker who prefers fewer, better processes. You'd rather delete a process than add one.
- You're hands-on with AI. You've built real workflows with LLMs and agents (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code) that other people depend on. You're comfortable with prompts, scripts, APIs, and integrations.
- You know the tools product and customer-facing teams use (Linear, Notion, Slack, Zendesk) and have opinions about how they should be set up.
- You communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
- You earn trust without authority. PMs, engineers, implementations, support, and sales see you as the person who makes their week easier.
- You have experience in product operations, program management, or a similar role at a B2B software company.
- Bonus points if you've run launches for enterprise customers.
