About the Role
You will own the core design and generation experience—the foundation of the product, where designers transform ideas into tangible outputs. This role is pivotal, as the entire company is built around this core. You will:
- Define what constitutes good output for users and establish evaluation habits to ensure continuous improvement.
- Design for trust, ensuring non-technical users understand when to rely on the model and how to handle variability gracefully.
- Balance the needs of everyday creatives and directors who sign contracts, ensuring alignment between user experience and business outcomes.
- Conduct tight discovery through user interviews, competitive analysis, and heavy internal testing, translating insights into rapid product launches.
Who You Are
Extremely high ownership. You take initiative, solve problems, and drive results regardless of obstacles like limited resources or challenging stakeholders.
Sharp eye for design. You can assess generated design concepts, identifying why some work and others don’t. This requires a blend of product sense and workflow empathy.
A systems thinker. You understand the broader ecosystem a feature impacts and proactively address gaps others might overlook.
First-principles thinker. You approach problems by breaking them down to fundamentals and challenge conventional AI-product patterns if they don’t serve users.
Fluent in probabilistic systems. You think in terms of distributions and evaluations rather than fixed specifications. Experience isn’t mandatory—speed of learning matters more.
Resilient and creative under constraints. Early-stage startups thrive on adaptability and resourcefulness.
AI-native workflow. You leverage tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or Town to accelerate research, prototyping, and execution.
Data-driven. You define clear product metrics, use both quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making, and are comfortable with tools like Amplitude.
Requires 3–5 years of product experience, with a track record of shipping meaningful products end-to-end and measurable outcomes.
Bonus: Experience shipping generative-AI or ML-powered products; background in or curiosity about fashion, design, or creative tools; experience with enterprise/B2B products where the buyer and user are distinct.
How We Work
Ownership: We take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. Initiative and accountability drive results.
Bias to solution: We don’t just identify problems—we actively unblock ourselves and others.
Customer obsession: Our work starts and ends with the customer. We listen deeply, move quickly, and deliver tools that enhance creativity and efficiency.
Lowest level of detail: We dive deep into the weeds, noticing what others might miss and asking probing questions.
1% better every day: Continuous improvement compounds. We stay curious, seek feedback, and focus on small, incremental enhancements.
AI-first: AI is integrated across the company—from product development to growth and operations—to accelerate progress and improve quality.
What We Offer
Innovative culture: Own the core of the product at a company where the core is the company, working in an exciting and unsolved corner of applied AI.
Growth paths: Opportunities to drive impact beyond your immediate role as the company scales.
Learning & development: Annual discretionary stipend for professional development.
Annual company offsite to bring the entire team together.
Small team with high ownership and direct impact from decisions.
Competitive salary and equity options.
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.

Raspberry AI
View Company ProfileRaspberry AI is the premier, enterprise-grade generative AI platform and creative assistant engineered to serve as the definitive, industry-aware design orchestration layer for global fashion brands, apparel manufacturers, and retail enterprises. Operating as a mission-critical product development and visual merchandising transformation engine, the company eliminates the severe systemic friction of the traditional fashion supply chain—where design teams routinely face multi-week production delays, excessive physical sampling costs, and fragmented workflow loops between initial creative briefs and factory-ready specifications—by deploying an advanced, cloud-native generative workspace. Moving far beyond generic text-to-image generators, Raspberry AI unifies sketch-to-render pipelines, 3D avatar-to-photorealism enhancements, automated seamless print and pattern generation, and virtual on-body try-on telemetry into a single, high-performance studio companion. The platform empowers apparel designers, merchants, and creative directors to dynamically translate rough ideation briefs into high-fidelity, brand-consistent visual assets while slashing product development timelines by months. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical core—backed by $29 million in venture capital from top-tier institutional investors like Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Khosla Ventures, and Greycroft—natively orchestrates customized, fine-tuned foundational models trained exclusively on a brand's unique aesthetic DNA, secure SOC 2 Type II compliant private cloud isolation, and deep workflow handoffs to downstream production systems. What sets Raspberry AI apart is its uncompromising dedication to bridging the gap between performance-intensive, high-velocity generative creativity and real-world manufacturability; by enabling design groups to iterate through dozens of photorealistic silhouettes and colorways in minutes without wasting fabric, the firm enables modern retail giants to radically maximize their concept-to-market velocity, eliminate sampling waste, and build an unassailable foundation for sustainable commercial scale.
