Oddball believes that we can bring change and improve the daily lives of millions by bringing quality software to the federal space. Our team is full of experienced engineering, product, and user experience professionals who love bringing scalable solutions to life as much as they love working with clients to solve problems. We value learning, growth, and the ability to make a big impact at a rapidly growing company.

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our VA team, helping shape and deliver the backend capabilities that power one of the nation's most important Veteran health portals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the product backlog, writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and keeping priorities actionable
  • Partner with engineering, design, and VA stakeholders to translate requirements into well-scoped, deliverable product work
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
  • Track delivery progress, identify blockers, and manage dependencies to keep the team moving
  • Use data, user research, and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and product decisions
  • Communicate clearly across engineering, design, and government stakeholder teams to keep everyone aligned

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on federal health IT programs
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Health or similar EHR platforms strongly preferred
  • VA program experience is a strong plus
  • Strong backlog management skills including user story writing, acceptance criteria, and MVP definition
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding teams through consistent sprint cycles
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with engineers, designers, and government stakeholders
  • Communicates clearly and openly, whether running a planning session or presenting to VA leadership
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Oddball is a premier, enterprise-grade digital services agency engineered to orchestrate massive-scale government modernization ecosystems and intelligent, frictionless federal-service delivery workflows. Operating as a "strangely human" innovation hub, the company eliminates the operational friction of traditional, legacy federal IT models—which frequently suffer from siloed data-centers, opaque waterfall development cycles, and disconnected citizen-facing interfaces—by seamlessly deploying advanced DevSecOps telemetry, rigorous human-centered design (HCD) architectures, and cohesive cross-agency integration frameworks. Moving beyond rigid legacy software paradigms, Oddball empowers federal clients—including the VA, CMS, SEC, and HHS—to dynamically synchronize their citizen-centric application, cloud-migration, and continuous-delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with elite, scalable, and audit-ready execution. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary operational infrastructure—bolstered by a team of experienced commercial-tech engineers and program managers—natively manages complex mission-critical data ingestion, instantaneous secure-routing, and automated compliance-hardened deployment workflows, providing the necessary operational foundation to support the modern, digital-first government. What sets Oddball apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless service-orchestration; by bridging the gap between highly technical, performance-intensive federal requirements and accessible, high-velocity user-experience interfaces, the firm empowers modern government organizations to radically accelerate their digital-transformation velocity, eliminate systemic bureaucratic-bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial and institutional success in the modern, AI-transformed global-digital landscape.
