Procurement Project Lead

About the Role: Valtech is the experience innovation company. We are seeking a Procurement Project Lead to join our Supplier Management department, pivotal in transitioning us towards a formal procurement function. You will own the end-to-end sourcing cycle, build a preferred supplier panel, and establish best-in-class procurement practices across our global operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end sourcing cycle for Professional Services and Consulting (RFQ, negotiation, contract execution, renewal).
• Build and manage a preferred supplier panel, establishing role-based rate cards and standard commercial terms.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts directly with suppliers, balancing cost, quality, and risk in collaboration with Legal and Cybersecurity teams.
• Drive portfolio consolidation projects to reduce fragmentation and deliver measurable cost savings.
• Benchmark supplier rates against market positions to provide credible commercial challenges.
• Contribute to the broader procurement transformation roadmap, including system implementation and AI-assisted tooling adoption.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management (Professional Services/Consulting sector preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen—experience reading, negotiating, and challenging complex professional services agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and manage stakeholders in a multi-country environment.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to build spend baselines, conduct market benchmarking, and create business cases for sourcing decisions.
• Experience using LLM tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate procurement deliverables.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; CIPS/CPM certification is a plus.
