How You'll Contribute

• Build software and APIs using Python frameworks (ideally FastAPI) to create smooth, reliable data processing and deployment experiences.
• Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure from a software engineering perspective, handling core networking components like WAF and CDN.
• Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code and deploy scalable services using Kubernetes (specifically AKS) and Docker.
• Implement end-to-end data solutions, ensuring data flows correctly across real-time (Kafka/Kinesis) and batch architectures.

• Bridges data and software engineering (technical design) with deep expertise in software design and architectural principles, applying a software engineer's mindset to solve complex infrastructure and data modeling challenges. Sets the technical direction for the organization, aligning core system designs with strategic goals while effectively communicating complex architectures to diverse stakeholders.
• Drives Python excellence and core engineering practices (software development) with mastery in Python and related ecosystem frameworks to lead language and technology adoption across multiple teams. Acts as an expert in identifying and promoting industry best practices, code versioning, advanced debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting high-throughput Python applications.
• Elevates quality and testing standards (testing and quality assurance) by serving as an expert in modern testing methodologies, automated test frameworks, and quality assurance strategies, actively defining and driving best practices across multiple engineering and data teams.
• Integrates security, observability, and performance (security, performance, observability) by guiding teams on embedding security into the software development lifecycle. Optimizes complex Python applications and data pipelines for maximum performance, resource efficiency, and deep operational observability.
• Values collaboration and CI/CD excellence (build and deployment) by collaborating on robust CI/CD workflows, DevOps capabilities, and automated deployment pipelines across the organization. Drives operational best practices and continuous infrastructure improvements across multiple teams.
• Ensures operational resilience (support and operations) with deep expertise in supporting, monitoring, and operating critical production software systems, leading the resolution and post-mortem analysis of complex technical issues.
• Fosters agile execution and clear technical communication (agile delivery and leadership) by demonstrating expert-level execution within Agile frameworks, driving continuous process improvement across teams. Serves as an exceptional communicator capable of translating intricate technical concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership and key partners in English.

Your Technical Toolkit:

• Cloud and Networking: Deep experience (at least 7 years) with Azure and cloud infrastructure (Networking, WAF, CDN).
• Infrastructure as Code and Containers: Proficient with (at least 7 years) in Terraform, with hands-on experience in AKS/Kubernetes and Docker.
• Programming and APIs: (10 years of experience) Strong Python development skills, with deep expertise in organizing projects and building web services using FastAPI.
• AI Knowledge: Experience building AI-enabled applications, particularly in recommendation or conversational systems and evaluation frameworks for LLM or AI systems. Clear understanding of how AI systems differ from traditional deterministic systems.
