About Us
Nebulock builds hunt-first, behavior-first security operations. Enterprise security teams use us to find attackers already inside their environment by spotting behavior that's abnormal for that organization, rather than by matching signatures of attacks someone has already seen. Attackers rotate tooling constantly and it costs them almost nothing; changing how they behave is much harder.
Series A, $34M total raised led by FirstMark, with Bain Capital Ventures, Decibel, Zetta, Step Function, and In-Q-Tel. Founding team out of CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Arctic Wolf.
The platform is a closed loop:
A per-customer behavioral system of record that learns what normal looks like in a specific environment and gets more useful the longer it runs
Detections built from that context, re-baselining as environments shift, maintained by a detection engineering team rather than shipped and forgotten
Autonomous hunting agents that work from a hypothesis instead of an alert, and write the detection when they establish root cause
Detection engineering agents that take the context of threat hunts run to build, test, validate and deploy behavioral detections for Nebulock customers.
Position Overview
As a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer at Nebulock, you will own the end to end product experiences that power our hunt-first security operations platform. You will architect, build, and maintain the systems that our customers interact with on a daily basis. You’ll collaborate closely with our product organization, our internal threat hunters and detection engineers, and our data platform team to ensure that we are solving real customer problems. This role is ideal for engineers who want significant ownership over customer-facing systems and who enjoy touching all parts of the stack from the database layer up to the UI.

Co-own the technical roadmap and advocate for the technical investments that matter most
Mentor other engineers on the team to ensure Nebulock engineering is constantly getting better

Nebulock
View Company ProfileNebulock (operating via nebulock.io) is a premier AI-native cybersecurity enterprise engineered to deliver an agentic threat hunting and detection platform for modern security operations. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the company fundamentally transforms how organizations proactively identify and neutralize sophisticated threats. Moving far beyond traditional, reactive alert triage and siloed tools, Nebulock natively unifies autonomous AI agents, a continuously updated behavioral Context Graph, and massive-scale data ingestion into a single, cohesive ecosystem. The platform empowers security teams to continuously hunt across endpoint, identity, cloud, network, and SaaS telemetry—surfacing complex behaviors and TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) rather than just simple indicators of compromise (IOCs). Under the hood, their proprietary system acts as a 24/7 autonomous teammate that investigates hypotheses, reasons through terabytes of daily telemetry, and automatically translates findings into hardened, behavior-based detection rules. Capturing significant market momentum with over $33.5 million in total funding from top-tier investors like FirstMark Capital and Bain Capital Ventures, Nebulock remains a definitive cornerstone of the modern cybersecurity landscape, enabling organizations to stay ahead of machine-speed adversaries and decisively close critical coverage gaps.
