Principal Consultant – Supply Chain Management in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Stoneridge Software is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead implementation efforts for Supply Chain Management in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O). As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for business process and application design, mapping to client business requirements, ensuring solutions align with business goals within supply chain management.

A Day in the Life

• Design the supply chain solution and perform setup for the client's including business processes, system configuration, customization, and integration with third-party applications
• Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of process design, software products, customizations, and integrations to meet those needs
• Serve as a contributor within our implementation delivery team to develop a solution proposal and execution plan that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan, and technology solution options to meet project goals as well as longer-term needs
• Provide leadership and technical guidance in supply chain management and proactively identify risks and mitigation plans within respective functional area
• Lead the design, configuration, and testing of core solutions modules
• Lead data migration conversations, work with the technical team to execute data migrations, and test data migrations for accuracy
• Convert client requirements to functional specs and design documents; ensure the accuracy of requirements and design documents
• Maintain knowledge of third-party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare solutions
• Communicate complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills
• Perform demonstrations of D365 SCM to clients as part of project execution as part of our proof of concept, Joint Process Design methodology
• Leverage knowledge and experience to find and encourage win-win solutions with team members and clients
• Organize tasks and projects efficiently and set clear goals to ensure timely completion
• Make effective decisions and recommendations for Stoneridge Software and our clients’ best interests
• Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Prioritize self-development by attending training or self-learning to enhance skills and expertise
