Platform Engineer: Networking

About the Role: Tenki (a startup within Luxor Technology) is building the future of compute markets, treating compute as a new digital asset class. As a Platform Engineer: Networking, you will help build the core infrastructure that powers Tenki, managing datacenter firewalls, configuring overlay networks, and integrating with cloud platforms.

What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain datacenter firewalls, NAT policies, VPN tunnels, and security zoning.
• Configure and support L2/L3 networking, including VLANs, LAG/LACP, MLAG, and BGP routing.
• Build and maintain VXLAN/EVPN fabric for scalable multi-tenant networking.
• Work with server, virtualization, and cloud teams to integrate networking for Kubernetes, KVM, and CEPH.
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot incidents, and assist in designing new racks and cross-connects.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with modern overlay networking technologies (e.g., VXLAN, WireGuard).
• Experience operating and troubleshooting production datacenter networks (L3/L4 packet flows).
• Familiarity with Linux networking concepts, configuration, and BGP/internet routing principles.
• Ability to work independently in a shifting startup environment while documenting clear operational procedures.
