Pharmacovigilance Specialist

The **Pharmacovigilance Specialist** is responsible for operational delivery of assigned tasks at the project level. This role may involve acting as the **Primary or Secondary Project Responsible** for the assigned project.

The Specialist communicates potential risks related to operational delivery, quality, client relationships, and company reputation to the **Pharmacovigilance Team Leader/Manager**. They also handle ad hoc project tasks and project requirements. Additionally, the role may involve reviewing and updating company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performing tasks based on weekly work planning meetings.
• Collaborating with **Pharmacovigilance Managers** and **Team Leaders** according to a specified plan.
• Supporting weekly/monthly local and global literature screening.
• Translating adverse events and quality complaints from Turkish to English.
• Entering cases into the database system and generating formal reports.
• Supporting follow-up of safety alerts.
• Ensuring reconciliation processes are in place and performed regularly with clients.
• Ensuring continuity of pharmacovigilance (PV) activities in the absence of a Specialist.
• Adhering to principles of data integrity, confidentiality, and personal data protection.
• Continuously developing professional and personal skills, including participation in pharmacovigilance-relevant trainings.
