Position Overview
We are seeking a high-agency, systems-oriented People Business Partner to join our global People Team. In this highly critical track, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior Go-To-Market (GTM) and core software engineering executives as the company advances in commercial maturity, system complexity, and international scale. Bringing a thoughtful people-centric lens to remote org design, performance management frameworks, and leader coaching, you will preserve a high-trust, high-accountability engineering workspace tailored specifically for an asynchronous, fast-moving developer tooling culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Business Partnership: Partner alongside GTM and engineering leadership squads to navigate organizational restructuring, workforce capacity profiles, and high-impact day-to-day people decisions.
- Leadership Coaching & Mentorship: Coach, advise, and guide engineering managers to strengthen structural management consistency, behavioral alignment, and team judgment across distributed units.
- Asynchronous Program Scaling: Evolve, optimize, and scale human resource operations, workflows, and performance metrics thoughtfully without introducing overbuilt or bureaucratic administrative blockers.
- Proactive Employee Relations: Monitor and track structural team health metrics, executing proactive employee relations initiatives to ensure engineering squads remain collaborative, focused, and healthy.
- Cross-Functional Operations Synchronization: Collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional internal partners including Recruiting, People Ops, Corporate Legal, and Finance to drive unified corporate GTM directives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of verified professional experience operating as a People Business Partner (PBP) or Senior HR Generalist inside high-growth technology startups or scale-up SaaS environments.
- Direct tracking record supporting distributed, multi-market Go-To-Market (GTM) operations or technical backend engineering organizations.
- Absolute structural comfort navigating remote-first, highly decentralized work cultures that prioritize deep asynchronous communication mechanics and written documentation clarity.
- Demonstrated experience architecting organizational designs, managing fair performance evaluations, and influencing senior leadership choices without using a heavy-handed management lens.
- Familiarity with the operating dynamics of self-serve, open-source commercialization motions and enterprise software sales execution setups.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first global workspace infrastructure open to qualified human resource partners residing anywhere **Worldwide** (Global Remote).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience operating inside database technology, open-source infrastructure tools, cloud hosting networks, or developer-facing B2B platform companies.
- Hands-on familiarity tracking application pipelines and logging pipeline indicators inside modern tracking platforms, explicitly Ashby infrastructures.
