mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. We are building a payment platform that allows merchants to accept payments in-store, in-app and online, whilst consolidating all their data on a real-time business management dashboard.
This role reports into the Chief Growth Officer. In this role you will be instrumental in driving mx51’s growth trajectory. Your previous experience in the payments and or POS industry will enable you to work to expand our solution penetration with POS Partners and drive revenue growth for the business.
In your role, you’ll be interacting with stakeholders across various levels and functions within partner organisations. Your success in growing our partner network hinges on your ability to identify, engage and win new partners. You build credibility fast — leading with insight, tailoring solutions to each prospect's needs, and earning trust by delivering on every promise from day one.
The role will require building a solid understanding of the key partner decision makers, their pain points, and priorities to support expanding our partner integrations. You’ll lead the commercial process leveraging the various internal teams including technology, legal and operations as required. As the process transitions to delivery, you’ll bring the appropriate level of oversight to ensure key milestones are met and identify opportunities for continued growth and optimisation with the partner.
You’ll interface daily with a variety of our teams, including Product, Technology, Customer Success & Support. To succeed in this position you will need to nurture networks within mx51, as well as with key external contacts and across the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility and leadership for growth across partner portfolio
- Grow partner portfolio through business development
- Grow solution penetration through partner portfolio
- Build and execute against portfolio plan on a yearly basis
- Take ownership and lead the end-to-end partner management lifecycle from prospecting through to BAU
- Lead complex negotiations involving commercial agreements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at new and existing partners
- Support key client meetings by facilitating partner engagement to grow solution penetration
- Engage with Product teams to help drive product strategy in line with broader partner needs and expectations
- Lead and contribute to Customer team projects to develop and refine our sales process, strategy and growth
