Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, incident-focused, and routing-literate Network Operations Engineer to join our global Network Operations Center (NOC) squad under a permanent, full-time remote configuration based in India. Operating inside a rotational 24x7 NOC operations shift, you will take absolute Level 2 operational ownership over network traffic monitoring, hardware debugging, and real-time service disruption resolution. Shifting completely away from customer-facing visual layout styling, entry-level office data transcription, or application software feature coding, you will run an active WAN optimization, firewall policy evaluation, and incident triage laboratory—partnering closely with Level 1 support teams and upstream Level 3 systems architects. This position requires an infrastructure professional with 4–6 years of network support experience who manages network packets fluidly natively using DevOps and infrastructure diagnostic methods, isolates routing breakdowns across BGP and OSPF parameters, monitors cluster health telemetry cleanly via SolarWinds or LogicMonitor, and enforces strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) confidently during critical production outages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Level 2 Incident Governance: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve high-pressure Level 2 network incidents, connectivity disruptions, and hardware faults natively utilizing DevOps and infrastructure guidelines.
  • Telemetry & Alarm Instrumentation: Monitor global network, server, and application performance layers continuously, analyzing high-volume metric alerts via LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or identical monitoring tools.
  • Routing & Switching Optimization: Deeply troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless link failures, validating configurations across Spanning-Tree, VLANs, ACLs, and Port-Channels.
  • Root Cause Analysis Synthesis: Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) loops over recurring system disruptions, generating clear, technical infrastructure incident reports and runbooks.
  • Escalation & Change Coordination: Provide technical direction to Level 1 support techs while managing clear, structured escalation pathways to Level 3 engineers or external ISP vendors under strict ITIL process standards.
  • Scheduled Infrastructure Maintenance: Participate in planned maintenance windows, performing network hardware upgrades, rule deployments, and failover validation checks to safeguard system availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4–6 years of proven professional history operating within a Network Operations Center (NOC), Infrastructure Support, Systems Administration, or closely related network engineering role.
  • Expert Routing and Switching Command: Comprehensive, hands-on production history troubleshooting routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP alongside core TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP architectures.
  • Production-grade expertise administering Cisco Products paired with enterprise network security or firewall management suites like Palo Alto or Fortinet.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging advanced telemetry tools (such as SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, or equivalent dashboard monitors) to trace network traffic drops.
  • Rotational Shift Commitment: Absolute willingness and physical capacity to operate fluidly within a rotational 24x7x365 NOC shift roster under strict operational time objectives.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified network engineers residing permanently inside India.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Possess active industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or matching systems validation credentials (eligible for corporate bonus payouts).
  • Familiarity or baseline exposure navigating cloud networking environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP nodes.
  • Grounded knowledge of ITIL service desk processes, automated alert filtering systems, or centralized log aggregation metrics.

What We Offer

  • Market-Leading India NOC Salary Grid: A competitive annual base salary calibrated to technical infrastructure experience, supplemented by attractive Shift Allowances and On-Call Allowances.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure freedom within India, backed by a dedicated Work From Home equipment setup stipend.
  • Uncapped Certification Bounty Program: Access to an exclusive "No Questions Asked" certification policy, featuring full cost coverage and a dedicated Certification Bounty Bonus upon passing exams.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness features, encompassing extensive Medical Benefits, Health Allowances, and dedicated Learning & Development budgets.
  • Long-term financial welfare architectures, including corporate Gratuity, Provident Fund (PF), Employee Pension Scheme (EPS), and National Pension System (NPS) integrations.
