● Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, People, IT, and business stakeholders to translate finance-process requirements into scalable system configurations and controls.
● Manage integrations and data flows between NetSuite and connected systems; investigate issues, coordinate fixes, and maintain reliable master data.
● Improve automation and operational efficiency through system enhancements, workflow design, approval routing, and thoughtful use of native NetSuite functionality.
● Own release management, sandbox testing, user acceptance testing, change control, documentation, and end-user training.
● Monitor data quality, access, controls, and audit readiness; identify risks and recommend practical improvements.
● Support reporting, dashboards, saved searches, and ad hoc analysis so finance and business partners can make informed decisions.
● Evaluate and support related finance and procurement tools, including Zip.
What You'll Bring
Your experience and strengths:
● 7+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite administration in a business environment (required).
● Experience successfully supporting or leading one to two full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations, from requirements and design through configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
● Strong understanding of ERP concepts, financial systems, and core Finance processes, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management, procurement, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
● Experience configuring and administering NetSuite capabilities, including Financials, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Fixed Assets, Advanced Revenue Recognition, MCP, SuiteAnalytics, dashboards, saved searches, workflows, roles, permissions, and user access.
● Experience building and supporting complex finance integrations, AI workflows, and agents.
● Ability to partner effectively with Finance stakeholders to translate reporting, automation, and process improvement needs into practical NetSuite solutions.
● Experience in a startup, high-growth, or software/SaaS company is ideal.
● Familiarity with billing, procurement, spend management, and AP automation tools.
● Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate root causes and explain solutions clearly.
● Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor while serving as the internal go-to resource for NetSuite knowledge and support; highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for data quality and system reliability.
● Ability to prioritize effectively and operate with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
