About the Role
You will manage production for multiple podcasts from planning through publication. That means booking and prepping guests, working with several hosts, sitting in on StreamYard recordings and keeping them running, cutting rough edits, handing off to our outside production partners, and reporting on how episodes perform. From day one you own the calendar and the guest experience.
We are a small marketing team, so the work does not stop at the podcast. Expect to pitch in on email, social, video, webinars, and campaign support. If you have done that work before, say so. If you want to learn it, there is room. The role is remote day to day, with occasional travel required a few times a year for company events.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the production calendar for multiple shows, from topic planning through publication.
- Book guests, handle scheduling, and manage guest communication from first outreach through post-episode follow-up.
- Research guests and write interview outlines, question sets, and host prep documents.
- Work with several hosts to shape topics and get them ready to record.
- Attend StreamYard recordings and troubleshoot audio and video issues live.
- Take production notes during recording and flag the edits that matter.
- Download, name, and organize audio, video, transcripts, and episode assets.
- Complete rough edits in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable software before handoff.
- Coordinate final production with outside partners and keep the marketing team on schedule.
- Track downloads, listens, and engagement, report the trends worth acting on, help launch new shows, and support other marketing campaigns as needed.
Requirements
Experience and background:
- Three to five years producing podcasts, including at least one show you supported from planning through publication.
- Hands-on editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable software, and remote recording in StreamYard or a comparable platform. Premiere Pro and StreamYard are what we run on, so direct experience with both will stand out.
- Preferred: experience with email marketing, social media, video, webinars, or content marketing.
Must-haves:
- A working grasp of podcast structure, pacing, and what keeps an audience listening.
- Organization strong enough to keep several shows and several deadlines moving at once.
- Interest in staying and growing with the show slate rather than treating this as a one-year stop.
- Clear, warm communication with guests, hosts, and outside production partners, plus comfort being on camera and sitting in on interviews.
- Attention to detail in file naming, asset handling, and publishing, plus a reliable remote setup for supporting live recordings.
- Availability for occasional travel, a few times a year, for company events.
Why This Role Stands Out
- You produce a slate of shows, not one, so the work stays varied.
- You report directly to the VP of Marketing and Growth, with real input on what gets made.
- You will help launch new shows and build toward a podcast network.
- A team small enough that your work is visible, and events where you get to meet the people behind the shows.
- Room to stretch into other marketing channels if you want the range.
