Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior UX/UI Designer with a powerful technical focus in motion graphics to join our core centralized product design collective in a full-time remote capacity across Nigeria. Operating under the recruitment classification of Motion Designer inside our core ecosystem, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for executing, scaling, and protecting the user interfaces power-routing our flagship financial products. Shifting completely away from routine passive wireframe skinning, basic layout adjustments, or disconnected template copy writing, you will operate as a principal experience architect—leading the comprehensive end-to-end design process from qualitative user research and heuristic discovery through to high-fidelity prototyping, automated UI framework execution, and micro-animation delivery. This position requires an enterprise fintech or SaaS product veteran with 3+ years of senior-level engineering depth who designs intuitive mobile layouts fluidly natively using UI/UX Design architectures, constructs atomic component tokens smoothly natively using Figma software configurations, and engineers responsive kinetic motion mechanics confidently under strict sprint lines.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Financial Product Design: Formulate, design, and execute comprehensive product design strategies aligned completely with long-term business objectives, delivering intuitive, accessible, and user-centered interfaces cleanly natively utilizing UI/UX Design principles.
• Advanced Research and Usability Engineering: Lead qualitative user interviews, usability testing sessions, heuristic evaluations, and data-driven A/B experiments to validate design hypotheses and remove transactional friction loops.
• Scalable Design System Governance: Construct, scale, and maintain responsive UI components, semantic design tokens, and shared configuration patterns to expand the bank unified, multi-platform design library natively using Figma primitives.
• Advanced Kinetic Micro-Interactions: Create, refine, and integrate interactive micro-animations, loading sequences, and motion elements across mobile and web platforms using specialized tools including Lottie, After Effects, and Principle to increase interface scannability and usability.
• Inclusive Design and Accessibility (A11y): Enforce absolute conformance with international web accessibility guidelines, ensuring our transactional software interfaces serve an incredibly diverse and non-technical consumer base.
• Cross-Functional Architecture Realignment: Partner in lockstep alongside Product Managers and Engineering pods to translate abstract software constraints into explicit interface specifications, maintaining a high design execution bar during production handoffs.
• Data-Driven Conversion Diagnostics: Audit frontend analytics registries (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar) to transform quantitative drop-off metrics into impactful, loop-closing design refinements that maximize business performance.
• Design Mentorship and Craft Reviews: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering an asynchronous culture of creative excellence, leading structured critique sessions, and building shared documentation repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of verified professional history running advanced digital product design, human-computer interaction layout mapping, mobile software user experience design, front-end design systems engineering, or fintech consulting.
• Mandatory Senior-Level Sourcing: Documented career history successfully leading high-leverage product design projects in a Senior capacity, demonstrating absolute strategic command over the core fundamentals of visual design, grids, layouts, typography, and color theory.
• Expert-tier capability mapping abstract user flows, managing information architecture trees, and building high-fidelity interface maps natively utilizing UI/UX Design strategies.
• Practical operational familiarity organizing auto-layouts, managing interactive component variants, and structuring nested prototyping webs natively using master-level Figma workflows.
• Deep working mastery utilizing specialized post-production and vector motion tools, explicitly requiring hands-on history with **Lottie, Adobe After Effects, or Principle** frameworks to create dynamic app transitions.
• Proven commercial product design history operating explicitly within the high-performance fields of international fintech software, digital consumer banking layers, SaaS accounting setups, or API-first transactional portals.
