Mobile Platform Tech Lead

About the Role: At Smart Working, we are looking for a Mobile Platform Tech Lead to own and strengthen the technical foundations of our mobile banking app. This is a platform-focused leadership role with a strong emphasis on enablement, developer experience, engineering architecture, and release quality.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to the mobile platform team (primarily React Native across iOS and Android).
• Own and drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines, build reliability, release workflows, and deployment processes.
• Act as a hands-on technical leader in the development and maintenance of shared mobile platform capabilities using React Native and TypeScript.
• Own mobile platform-level observability, crash reporting, and production incident management.
• Drive adoption of new tools and processes through mentoring, documentation, and training.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in mobile engineering, operating at a Tech Lead, Staff, or Principal Engineer level.
• 4+ years of production experience building and maintaining mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript.
• 4+ years of experience with native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or Java).
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines, build reliability, and mobile testing approaches (Detox, Appium, Jest).
• Bonus: Prior experience in a fintech, banking, or regulated product environment.
