Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, strategically minded Marketing Project Manager, Brand and Comms to oversee the delivery of high-signal brand marketing initiatives, analyst relations, public relations campaigns, and thought leadership programs across our global channels. In this role, you will serve as the central orchestration authority, defining project scopes, managing complex campaign timelines, and tracking cross-functional deliverables from design, content, and product marketing squads. Partnering tightly with external PR agencies, media journalists, and internal functional leaders, you will maintain our unified global communications calendar and translate brand metrics into actionable optimization insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand & Comms Delivery Management: Oversee public relations pipelines, industry award submissions, thought leadership calendars, and analyst tracking initiatives end to end.
- Agency & Media Synchronization: Partner with external PR partners and coordinate proactive media outreach campaigns, keeping healthy relations with enterprise journalists and market analysts.
- Cross-Functional Campaign Orchestration: Gather project requirements, manage budgets, map risk mitigation parameters, and coordinate task distribution across content, design, and digital teams.
- Global Communications Calendaring: Update and sync the central corporate communications timeline, working alongside regional and functional business leads.
- Copy & Asset Content Support: Review and edit press releases, corporate case studies, brand storytelling portfolios, and complex award submission matrices.
- Performance Telemetry Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and deliver executive-level reporting on the tangible impact of PR activities and analyst relations metrics to drive workflow improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified professional history running marketing project management, public relations coordination, or brand communications portfolios.
- Deep conceptual and operational understanding of PR mechanics, analyst engagement workflows, and corporate award cycles.
- Proven tracking history managing external agencies, media groups, and distributed vendor partnerships.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, optimized to influence cross-functional teams and align senior corporate stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management habits, with the ability to balance broad strategy with flawless campaign execution.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Location Context: Remote-first 18-month contract framework based out of **Toronto, Ontario, Canada** (Applicants residing within **British Columbia** are explicitly excluded from consideration).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience utilizing modern generative AI systems or large language models (**ChatGPT or Claude workflows**) to improve documentation and campaign efficiency.
- Familiarity navigating project delivery inside fast-moving digital agencies or enterprise technology consulting environments.
