Managing Director

About the Role: Everfield buys, builds, and grows European vertical market and specialist software companies. As Managing Director (MD), you will lead one of Everfield’s portfolio companies and assume full ownership of its strategy, execution, and performance. This is a role for operationally strong leaders ready to take end-to-end responsibility for a growing business.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute long-term strategy, identifying new market opportunities and product innovations.
• Lead, develop, and retain high-performing cross-functional teams, acting as a coach and decision-maker.
• Manage full P&L, owning key performance metrics (EBITDA, ARR, MRR) and driving revenue growth.
• Shape the go-to-market model, including sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.
• Represent the company externally with investors, partners, and customers, while improving internal operations.

What You Bring

• Prior experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or CEO in a B2B software or SaaS environment.
• Proven success leading a business with €2M–€10M in recurring revenue.
• Full accountability for business performance, including P&L, headcount, and strategy.
• Familiarity with multi-site or multi-entity software company structures and decentralized models.
• A hands-on leadership style grounded in operational excellence and clear communication.
