Manager, Talent Acquisition (Remote, US)

About the Role: Newsela is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Recruiting Manager to lead our Talent Acquisition efforts. Reporting directly to the VP of People, you will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing recruiting team while managing critical senior-level hiring across our Go-To-Market (GTM) and Technical organizations in the EdTech space.

What You'll Do

• Act as a core partner to the leadership team to build and scale GTM and Engineering organizations during high growth.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Own end-to-end recruiting performance, including req prioritization, funnel health, and time-to-fill.
• Execute the full-cycle recruitment process for key roles, ensuring rigorous vetting and exceptional candidate experience.
• Identify areas for process innovation and leverage data from tools like UKG and Salary.com to inform hiring strategy.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience within a SaaS environment, with 2-3 years in leadership.
• Deep understanding of GTM (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and Technical roles.
• High proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (specifically Greenhouse) and compensation benchmarking tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate vision, listen actively, and provide constructive feedback.
• A genuine passion for building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams within the EdTech sector.
