Manager of Cloud Platform Engineering

About the Role: Fingerprint empowers developers to stop online fraud at the source. We are looking for a Manager of Cloud Platform Engineering to lead an elite team of 6 engineers. In this role, you will be the architect of our scalability, the guardian of our hosting efficiency, and manage the foundational infrastructure that handles over 25 billion annual requests.

What You'll Do

• Lead and elevate a team of Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) first.
• Oversee the evolution of AWS EKS clusters, ensuring they remain resilient, performant, and secure under massive load.
• Manage and improve the modern DevOps stack, including ArgoCD for GitOps, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and Cloudflare for edge protection.
• Partner directly with the Finance team for strategic FinOps to manage hosting costs and drive a cost-conscious engineering culture.
• Define and enforce infrastructure best practices across the entire engineering organization.

What You Bring

• 5+ years managing engineering teams in a cloud-native environment, with 10+ years in technology overall.
• Deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem, specifically EKS (Kubernetes), IAM, VPC, and RDS.
• Expert-level knowledge of GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Proven track record of managing seven-figure cloud budgets and implementing successful cost-reduction strategies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance, network security, zero-trust principles, and managing Cloudflare.
