About the Role: Netflix is scaling its ad-supported tier to provide a premium TV experience that surpasses traditional linear formats. We are looking for a Manager for the Member Ad Experience team within Ads Data Science and Engineering (DSE). You will lead a high-performing team of ML Scientists, Data Scientists, and Analytics Engineers to quantify the impact of ad delivery policies on member experience and optimize the marketplace for long-term growth.
What You'll Do
- Hire, inspire, and grow a high-performing team of Machine Learning Scientists, Data Scientists, and Analytics Engineers.
- Lead strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Content, and Strategy stakeholders.
- Develop causal inference and predictive models to quantify the impact of ad load, frequency caps, and podding optimization on members.
- Act as an ambassador between Product, Engineering, and DSE teams, translating business goals into technical blueprints (models/algorithms).
- Instill an inclusive, innovative culture while overseeing end-to-end initiatives in this 0-to-1 space.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated tenacity, resilience, and leadership experience organizing cross-functional projects in the Ads space.
- Experience building and leading hybrid Data Science and ML teams, particularly in advertising technology.
- Ability to be both quantitative (assessing complex systems) and qualitative (high EQ as a product ambassador).
- Superb communication skills, capable of presenting meticulously to both technical and creative audiences.
- A passion for entertainment and a desire to define the future of global streaming and advertising.

- Salary range: $523,000 - $920,000 USD (Salary chosen annually between cash and stock options).
