Machine Learning Engineer (Predictions & Analytics) at Adapty

What this role is about:

We process $2B+ in subscriptions annually, holding more data on mobile subscription behavior than nearly anyone else. Accurate revenue and LTV predictions are critical for founders and growth teams to optimize user acquisition, financial planning, and embedded finance initiatives.

The current prediction engine lacks precision. Your mission is to build the most accurate LTV predictor in the market, enabling trustworthy revenue projections, cohort valuation, and financial leveraging—all of which rely on a reliable prediction engine.

Accurate predictions unlock strategic decisions: determining acquisition spend per cohort, forecasting month-end revenue in real-time, and lending against unarrived subscription revenue.

What you'll own and work day to day:

• Oversee three interconnected products: Predictions, Analytics, and A/B testing.

• Lead a small ML team, defining priorities and hiring direction.

• Design and refine the prediction engine, ensuring accuracy and customer validation.

• Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks in dashboards, improving user engagement.

• Decide on the deployment of existing ML capabilities—whether to integrate them into dashboards, tests, or other initiatives.

About you:

• Hands-on experience with code or models, capable of making independent technical decisions.

• Strong foundation in mathematics and classical ML, with the ability to critically evaluate model choices, metrics, and horizons—not just accept summaries.

• Proven track record of owning a product end-to-end. Share what you shipped last quarter and its impact.

• Proficient in SQL and committed to verifying data accuracy through direct checks.
