ALTEN
View Company ProfileALTEN (operating at alten.com) is a global engineering and IT services consultancy engineered for innovation-driven industries. Founded in 1988 by Simon Azoulay, Laurent Schwarz, and Thierry Woog, the company specializes in supporting clients’ research and development (R&D) strategies, bridging gaps between technical expertise and business objectives. Unlike traditional outsourcing models, ALTEN positions itself as a strategic partner, delivering high-value engineering and IT solutions tailored to complex challenges in sectors like aerospace, automotive, and energy. Under the hood, its operations combine specialized talent pools, agile project management frameworks, and deep sectoral knowledge to accelerate product development and operational efficiency. This allows enterprises to innovate faster, reduce time-to-market, and optimize resource allocation without the overhead of in-house R&D teams. With a revenue exceeding $4.5 billion, ALTEN operates as a self-sustained leader, having historically avoided external funding to maintain operational independence.
