Licensed Therapist (Telepsychiatry) - Alaska Tribal Health Organization

About the Role

Array is seeking a therapist with an active Alaska license for a 100% telepsychiatry position, working 40 hours/week remotely to provide services to patients accessing care from an Alaskan Tribal Health Organization. The patient population spans across all age groups.

Array will assist with licensure if you are not currently licensed in Alaska.

What You’ll Do

• Provide mental health services such as intake, therapy, and counseling.

• Conduct video-based behavioral health assessments with patients.

• Assist with de-escalation and stabilization.

• Gather and document collateral information from other sources via phone or video.

• Analyze psychological and psychosocial aspects of individual interrelationships to understand thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Provide written recommendations for the next level of assessment or care.

• Maintain documentation within the partner site’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Ensure a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients.

• Provide observational feedback within a multidisciplinary team context.

• Maintain all required certifications and licenses.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed in therapy with credentials such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LMSW.

• Active state license enabling independent practice.

• 1-3 years of experience since obtaining an unrestricted license.

• Intermediate to advanced experience with technology.

• Strong communication skills.

• Established and updated CAQH profile strongly preferred.

• Culturally responsive therapists capable of working effectively with tribal communities and patients affected by trauma.

• Clinicians who understand the impact of intergenerational trauma, substance use, and suicide risk within Native American populations.

• Training or certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is preferred.

Position Logistics

• 100% remote position.

• Requires a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality.

• You may need to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses, which Array will support and cover costs.
