Lead Product Designer - App Experience

About the Role: ZOE is a gut health science company that turns world-leading science into everyday gut-health products. We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our ZOE app team. You will lead high-impact product design, shape what we build, and create joyful, native app experiences that translate complex behavioral and scientific concepts into simple, intuitive interfaces.

What You'll Do

• Lead design across the full product design lifecycle, from problem framing and concept exploration to delivery and iteration.
• Design for iOS and Android, maintaining a strong understanding of platform conventions and interaction models.
• Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to shape the right solutions.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define problems and shape strategic direction.
• Raise the quality bar through strong visual and interaction design craft (layout, hierarchy, typography, and micro-interactions).

What You Bring

• A portfolio showing strong end-to-end product design work on native apps, with clear impact.
• Experience designing and shipping B2C mobile app experiences (iOS and/or Android).
• High-quality UI and interaction design craft with a maker-first mentality.
• Ability to use design as a problem-solving tool, framing work around user and business problems rather than just features.
• Low-ego, pragmatic mindset with a focus on what works and delivering outcomes.
