Lead Delivery Specialist

The Role

As a Lead Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting successful delivery across customer engagements, projects, and strategic initiatives. This role connects customer needs, business priorities, product capabilities, and delivery execution, providing hands-on leadership across complex or ambiguous initiatives.

You may take ownership of defined projects, workstreams, or customer outcomes while supporting Delivery Leads and Engagement Leads in driving successful execution. The role is not limited to a specific portfolio or solution area and may support initiatives such as S/4 Transformation, banking projects, customer engagements, and other strategic initiatives depending on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defined projects, workstreams, or initiatives from planning through to successful delivery.
• Provide project management (PM) and delivery leadership where additional capacity or expertise is required.
• Establish delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, actions, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, and delivery.
• Identify and remove delivery blockers and drive timely decision-making.
• Ensure agreed outcomes are translated into clear and executable activities.
• Support Delivery Leads with complex delivery challenges and initiatives.
• Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate alignment between customer requirements and Fioneer capabilities.
• Support customer governance, workshops, steering meetings, and executive discussions where required.
• Build trusted relationships across business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and ensure appropriate Fioneer teams are mobilized to address customer needs.

Engagement & Business Support

• Support Engagement Leads and Delivery Leads in shaping delivery approaches, roadmaps, and initiatives.
• Translate strategic priorities into practical delivery plans.
• Identify gaps in capability, resources, governance, or delivery approach.
• Coordinate across Product, Consulting, Delivery, Support, and other Fioneer functions.
• Contribute to engagement planning and continuous improvement.

Innovation & Value Creation

• Identify recurring customer challenges and opportunities across engagements.
• Assess whether customer problems could be addressed through repeatable services, accelerators, propositions, or product improvements.
• Bring relevant Fioneer stakeholders together to explore and shape these opportunities.
• Capture lessons learned and identified opportunities to improve delivery approaches across engagements.
