Lead Data Scientist

About the Role: NielsenIQ is the world's leading consumer intelligence company. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing the next generation of retail measurement solutions powered by algorithms, ML, and AI, leveraging large volumes of internal, client, and third-party data.

What You'll Do

• Ideate, prototype, and develop solutions for the product innovation pipeline.
• Build statistical and analytical models (including ML/AI approaches) as prototypes and POCs.
• Test and optimize models using big data, fine-tuning parameters and iterating rapidly.
• Read, write, comment, and maintain quality computer code utilized in prototyping and production.
• Define and own the roadmap of R&D and prototyping solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
• 6+ years of experience in data science/research, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end research projects.
• Vast knowledge of statistical and machine learning methodologies (Regressions, Time series, Clustering, Neural Networks, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python and its common data science libraries, along with experience in cloud computing and ETL.
