Join the growing team at Next Job Abroad! We're seeking an experienced Dutch-speaking recruiter to join our international team on a freelance basis.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in agency recruitment, international recruitment, or another fast-paced recruitment environment. You should be comfortable with sourcing, candidate management, KPIs, and placements as part of your daily workflow.

You’ll receive support from the team but must be self-driven, taking ownership of your workload and driving your own results.

About the Role

As an International Freelance Recruiter, you’ll manage your own candidate pipeline and primarily recruit for language-based roles across Europe. You’ll work proactively, identify candidate sources, and take responsibility for advancing recruitment processes.

During your first three months, you’ll receive paid onboarding and training, learning about our clients, processes, and tools. After this period, the role shifts to a commission-based model with no earning cap.

You should expect to dedicate around 30–40 hours per week to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and headhunt Dutch-speaking candidates across Europe
  • Recruit candidates in English for other language-based positions
  • Screen CVs and conduct candidate interviews
  • Assess motivation, suitability, and relocation readiness
  • Manage candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Build and maintain your own candidate pipeline
  • Work proactively toward weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Collaborate with the team on client requirements and open positions
  • Follow up with candidates during onboarding and post-placement

Requirements

You must:

  • Speak Dutch at a native or near-native level
  • Have a strong command of English
  • Possess previous professional recruitment experience
  • Ideally, come from agency recruitment, international recruitment, or high-volume recruitment environments
  • Have hands-on experience with sourcing and headhunting
  • Be comfortable working toward KPIs, targets, and placements
  • Know how to manage and prioritize your own recruitment pipeline
  • Be highly self-motivated and proactive
  • Take ownership when challenges arise and seek alternative solutions
  • Be comfortable working independently in a performance-driven environment

Benefits

We offer:

  • An onboarding bonus and training during your first 3 months
  • Uncapped commission after the initial period
  • A fully remote freelance setup
  • Flexibility to manage your own working day
  • Clear KPIs and expectations
  • International recruitment projects across Europe
  • Support from a collaborative recruiter team
  • Opportunities for long-term collaboration and professional development
