About Slingshot Aerospace: Slingshot Aerospace is on a mission to make space safer and more secure for everyone. We provide better data and smarter software to power the next generation of space operations. We are looking for an International Commercial Manager to support the growth of our international business operations, focusing on the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets.
The Mission
You will lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of commercial agreements supporting Slingshot International. Partnering closely with the GM, PMO, and Legal teams, you will develop compelling deal structures and navigate the art of the deal across global government and commercial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and competitive bid positions to post-award administration.
- Advise internal stakeholders on regional business norms, negotiation styles, and risk allocation across international markets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Executive Leadership to balance business objectives with operational risk.
- Establish scalable international contracting processes and best practices as the organization grows globally.
- Support proposal development and capture efforts for international government and partner ecosystems.
Pre-flight Checklist
- Significant experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts throughout the full lifecycle.
- Proven track record supporting international business transactions across Europe, the UK, and/or Asia-Pacific.
- Experience with both pre-award activities (proposals/bids) and post-award management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal, financial, and strategic considerations.
- Ability to operate independently while partnering effectively across internationally distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and influence skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
