Instructional Designer

We are looking for an experienced and creative Instructional Designer with 7–15 years of experience in designing engaging, effective, and learner-centric training content. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in instructional design methodologies, e-learning development, content structuring, and learning experience design. You will work closely with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, trainers, and learning teams to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning solutions for employees, customers, partners, or other target audiences based on business and learning objectives.
• Analyze training requirements, learner profiles, existing content, and performance gaps to determine appropriate instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather information, validate content, and ensure instructional accuracy.
• Create storyboards, instructional scripts, course outlines, facilitator guides, assessments, quizzes, simulations, and other learning assets.
• Convert complex technical or business concepts into simple, structured, and learner-friendly content.
• Develop interactive e-learning modules using appropriate instructional design principles and multimedia elements.
• Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
• Review and improve existing training materials based on learner feedback, business requirements, and content effectiveness.
• Ensure learning content follows established quality, accessibility, branding, and instructional standards.
• Work with graphic designers, multimedia developers, video editors, and other learning professionals to deliver high-quality learning programs.
• Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Conduct content reviews, quality checks, and stakeholder walkthroughs before final deployment.
• Stay updated on emerging learning technologies, instructional design practices, digital learning trends, and AI-enabled learning tools.

Must-Have Skills

• 7–15 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, e-learning, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience in creating structured and engaging learning content for digital and instructor-led environments.
• Strong skills in storyboarding, content development, assessment design, and learning objective creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with SMEs, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to independently manage instructional design projects from requirement gathering through final delivery.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience developing interactive and scenario-based e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline.
• Ability to create, edit, and enhance instructional videos, screen recordings, and demonstrations using Camtasia.
• Experience developing responsive and interactive digital learning courses using Adobe Captivate.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM-based course development.
• Exposure to multimedia design, animation, video editing, simulations, and gamification.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI-assisted content creation and personalized learning.
