Job Description
About the Role: At G-P, our Global Employment Platform enables clients to expand into over 180 countries. We are looking for an Information Security Engineer to support the implementation of our established application security program, assess web technologies, and coordinate remediation efforts with engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Participate in threat modeling exercises and perform security assessments, reviews, and internal penetration tests.
- Triage SCA/SAST/DAST/CSPM findings by eliminating false positives and providing vetted vulnerabilities to engineering.
- Support vulnerability management efforts for networks and infrastructure while ensuring timely remediation.
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive security tasks such as log analysis and incident detection.
- Build custom solutions to integrate security tools using languages like Python, JavaScript, or Go.
What You Bring
- BS in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience in application security.
- Experience in threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, and penetration testing (CTFs, Bug Bounty).
- Proficiency in coding/scripting languages (Python, Go, etc.) and programming against REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS security, Linux, Docker, and Terraform.
- Bonus: Security certifications such as OSCP, OSWP, eCPPT, eWPT, or Security+.
