NETGEAR is a global networking company trusted by millions of consumers, businesses, and service providers worldwide. Our People & Culture team is focused on creating an environment where employees can do their best work, grow their careers, and feel valued.
We are looking for a mid-level HR Business Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a dual-scope role: you will act as a flexible, business-facing HRBP supporting managers and employees across assigned client groups, while also serving as the global programme lead for Talent & Performance Management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR generalist or HRBP who enjoys both the relationship-driven side of business partnering and the structure and scale of running a global talent programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual Performance Review programme end-to-end, under the direction of the Director, Talent, Culture & Organisational Effectiveness.
- Organise and lead the ratings calibration process, partnering with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure consistency and fairness across the organisation.
- Partner with the Total Rewards team to align timelines across the full annual performance and rewards cycle.
- Own vendor management and communications for Pando, NETGEAR's Talent Management platform, ensuring correct configuration, training, and stakeholder support across each cycle.
- Develop talent programme frameworks including succession planning, organisational and talent reviews, and top talent identification.
- Drive continuous improvement across the performance cycle, including post-cycle retrospectives and supporting new initiatives such as the H2 promotions process.
Business Partnership & Manager Support
- Act as a strategic HR business partner for managers and employees within an assigned client group, providing guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with managers, coaching them on performance, feedback, and employee development.
- Participate in team meetings to stay aligned with business priorities and proactively identify people-related needs.
- Analyse trends across engagement, attrition, and employee relations, sharing insights with People team leadership.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations cases of low to moderate complexity, including performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation, in line with Irish employment legislation.
- Support investigations in partnership with senior HR and Legal, ensuring consistency and appropriate documentation.
- Guide managers through performance improvement plans and corrective actions, and support employees with leave, accommodations, and sensitive workplace matters in line with Irish employment law.
Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
- Champion NETGEAR's culture and values across client groups, reinforcing behaviours that reflect who we are as a company.
- Support employee engagement survey cycles, including facilitating manager debriefs and helping teams translate insights into actionable plans.
- Partner with the wider People team to deliver engagement initiatives, learning programmes, and culture-building activities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, HRBP, or People Partner role.
- Direct experience owning or significantly contributing to a performance management or talent management programme at a global or multi-region scale.
- Experience managing an HR technology or talent management platform, including configuration, vendor management, and stakeholder communication.
- Hands-on experience with employee relations, performance management processes, and direct manager coaching.
- Strong project management and cross-functional partnering skills, with experience aligning across teams such as Total Rewards, People Operations, and Business Insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge of Irish employment legislation, including the Employment Equality Acts, Unfair Dismissals Act, and Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) processes.
- High level of discretion, sound judgement, and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
- Experience working with US-headquartered global organisations an advantage.
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms.
- Exposure to supporting multi-location or global teams.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
