View Company ProfileCampus is an innovative, accredited online community college on a mission to democratize access to world-class higher education. Founded in 2016 by Tade Oyerinde, the company flipped the traditional college model by acquiring an established college in 2022 and revamping it for the digital age. Under the hood, Campus offers live, synchronous associate degrees and certificate programs taught by elite professors who also teach at top-tier universities like Princeton, NYU, and Vanderbilt. They provide a deeply supported ecosystem where every student receives a free high-quality laptop, high-speed WiFi access, a personal success coach, and 24/7 unlimited tutoring. To push boundaries further, Campus recently acquired Sizzle AI (founded by a former Meta AI chief) to integrate highly adaptive, machine-learning-driven tutoring directly into their platform. Their primary target audience includes non-traditional students and those historically underserved by the US higher education system who need affordable, career-ready skills. What sets Campus apart in the EdTech space—backed by over $100M from heavyweights like Founders Fund, Sam Altman, and Jason Citron—is its commitment to keeping tuition capped at the Pell Grant maximum, allowing the majority of its scholars to graduate with zero out-of-pocket costs or crippling student debt.
