Position Overview
We are seeking a highly sophisticated, commercially driven Head of Product Marketing to join our core global Marketing department in a full-time permanent remote capacity. In this pivotal technical leadership seat, you will claim absolute ownership over crafting the underlying stories, positioning strategies, and go-to-market (GTM) frameworks that ensure Lokalise wins against enterprise and mid-market competition. Moving past basic copywriting, you will operate at the direct cross-stack intersection of Product Management, Revenue Operations, and Brand cells, translating technical multi-use capabilities into explicit value metrics. This role demands a seasoned product marketing authority who can effortlessly balance distinct buyer personas—including technical audiences like developers or CTOs alongside business decision-makers—and drive deep corporate alignment loops to unblock high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Go-to-Market Architecture & Positioning: Own, redefine, and execute Lokalise’s global product positioning, messaging matrix, and comprehensive GTM strategies for mid-market and enterprise cohorts.
- End-to-End Product Launch Strategy: Lead the launch blueprints for major software updates and AI components cross-functionally, coordinating with Product and Sales teams to achieve maximum adoption impact.
- ICP & Persona Optimization: Research, develop, and maintain deep Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and targeted buyer personas, keeping client-facing squads armed with actionable competitive intelligence and market data.
- Full-Suite Sales Enablement Curation: Build and maintain a high-quality depository of commercial enablement resources, including strategic pitch decks, competitive battle cards, product one-pagers, and advanced objection-handling rubrics.
- Industry Category & Analyst Relations: Manage corporate relationships with key market research analysts (such as Gartner and Forrester), leading executive analyst briefings to secure prominent industry recognition.
- Cross-Functional Narrative Alignment: Partner with the Head of Content & Brand to weave cohesive technical stories into ongoing digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, and thought-leadership streams.
- Strategic Product Liaison: Report directly to the Marketing Lead, serving as the principal strategic partner to Product Leadership to influence feature prioritization with market insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior-level professional history leading product marketing divisions, enterprise GTM launches, or software positioning tracks inside an established B2B SaaS company.
- Proven background managing complex software product launches end-to-end, covering pre-launch pricing positioning, asset execution, and post-launch metric tracking.
- Excellent narrative communication mechanics, with an absolute capacity to craft copy that translates technical cloud utilities smoothly into clear financial value for executive stakeholders.
- Direct experience operating within a multi-use case platform architecture targeting distinct developer (CTO/Engineer) and corporate business decision-maker personas.
- Deep quantitative understanding of multi-stakeholder enterprise and mid-market software procurement cycles.
- Proven record establishing corporate competitive intelligence modules and transforming market tracking insights into practical sales scripts.
- Location Context: Full-time remote parameters open exclusively to qualified product marketing directors permanently based and legally authorized to work within the United Kingdom, Latvia, or Spain.
- Employment Framework: Available to engage strictly on a direct, full-time permanent local employment contract (B2B freelance or independent contractor profiles are unsupported).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience directing growth strategy or product positioning tracks natively within the localization infrastructure, generative AI text tech, or global content management systems (CMS) domains.
- Demonstrated history directly influencing prominent analyst quadrant evaluations or market wave coverage frameworks.
- Hands-on background recruiting, scaling, and managing a high-performance cell of product marketing managers or content analysts.
