Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-fluent, and data-driven Head of Marketing Operations to drive our transition toward a programmatic, data-driven, and AI-powered marketing engine under a permanent, full-time remote or office configuration based in the United Kingdom. In this high-leverage strategic leadership seat, you will act as both a hands-on technical architect and trusted strategic advisor, owning the platforms, data flows, and infrastructure metrics that power global marketing. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription loops, manual email copywriting lists, or standalone admin data entry, you will operate an active cross-functional MarTech orchestration, multi-tenant lead lifecycle management, and custom automated pipeline laboratory. Partnering closely alongside leadership cells across Marketing, Sales Operations, Business Development, and corporate IT, you will align technologies from top-of-funnel signals through to closed revenue. This position requires a GTM operations authority with 7–10+ years of enterprise software history who maps lead paths fluidly natively using Lead Generation and revenue data primitives, possesses verified HubSpot Super Admin credentials, and has an established track record developing high-performing operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- MarTech Stack & Architecture Governance: Own the global marketing technology ecosystem end to end, leading critical tool selections, build-vs-buy analysis, and maintaining a high-integrity core HubSpot–Salesforce sync natively utilizing Lead Generation and pipeline principles.
- AI & Automation Roadmap Instrumentation: Steer the structural AI deployment roadmap for marketing, equipping distributed teams to implement machine learning models, automated prompt assets, and workflow nodes (utilizing tools like n8n) to eliminate recurring operational tasks.
- Data Governance and Compliance Control: Own data hygiene, data model activation, multi-channel attribution analytics, and data privacy compliance architectures (specifically safeguarding GDPR and regional data requirements) to keep operational intelligence trusted.
- Lead Lifecycle Management Triage: Architect and optimize advanced lead-routing, token-enrichment, and behavioral scoring mechanics, tracking a fluid conversion path from initial MQL to SAL alongside Sales Operations.
- Campaign and Event Operations Support: Build efficiency frameworks to support, launch, and benchmark multi-channel marketing campaigns, high-volume email marketing distribution streams, and localized physical/digital event operations.
- Cross-Functional GTM Harmonization: Coordinate directly next to senior stakeholders in Business Development, IT infrastructure, and Field Sales cells to ensure data and metrics run seamlessly across all integrated channels.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, develop, and mentor a first-class team of specialized marketing operations engineers, defining clear, scannable priority backlogs and nurturing a high-performing squad culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 7–10+ years of proven, successful professional history operating within a Head of Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps) Director, GTM Systems Lead, or closely matching technical enterprise software growth capacity.
- Expert GTM Automation and CRM Command: Absolute hands-on mastery operating complex enterprise integrations connecting HubSpot and Salesforce, carrying definitive HubSpot Super Admin capabilities.
- Demonstrated people management history building, mentoring, and directing cross-functional technical operations teams inside a B2B SaaS or global enterprise tech matrix.
- Practical working experience applying artificial intelligence frameworks and automated pipeline nodes (such as n8n or matching integration utilities) to scale operational capabilities.
- Outstanding analytical, logical reasoning, and presentation communication strengths in English, with an established history influencing cross-team decision-making and bringing clarity into fluid operational settings.
- Location Context: Position operates under flexible parameters open exclusively to qualified enterprise technology operations leaders residing permanently within the United Kingdom (Office-based or UK Remote).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior platform or architectural design background scaling advanced lead attribution scoring, custom data warehouse synchronization, or tracking complex multi-tier account-based marketing (ABM) pipelines.
- Deep vertical domain knowledge of modern predictive consumer retail software, supply chain distribution topologies, or automated inventory tracking systems.
