About the Role
Ashby's GTM engine runs on a set of interconnected systems. Keeping them accurate, efficient, and trusted is the foundation for everything else. As our GTM Systems Analyst, you'll own the daily maintenance and configuration of the technical layer that powers our Go-to-Market organization: the CRM configurations, integration architecture, and data quality practices that let our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams move fast with confidence.
This role sits within Revenue Operations, the horizontal function that makes the entire GTM system work. You'll be embedded in daily operations (triaging issues, implementing new tooling, and translating business requirements into scalable configurations) while also contributing to longer-term systems strategy as we move up-market and expand our product suite.
Why this Role Matters Now
We're in an active expansion phase: new products, new segments, new GTM motions. Our systems need to keep pace. The person in this role will shape how we build the technical foundation for the next chapter of Ashby's growth.
What You'll Do
System Administration: Own the day-to-day health of our core GTM platforms. Manage configuration, user permissions, custom objects, and workflow automation across our CRM stack, ensuring systems reflect current team workflows.
Integration Support: Maintain clean data flows across our GTM toolset (including intent data, conversation intelligence, and sales engagement platforms). Ensure signals travel reliably between systems.
Data Governance: Enforce standards for data quality, deduplication, and field taxonomy. Build the infrastructure of trust for revenue reporting and forecasting, collaborating with GTM Engineers and System Architect.
Stakeholder Support: Be the go-to technical partner for frontline GTM teams. Triage issues, gather business requirements, and deliver scalable solutions. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.
Tooling Evaluation: Help evaluate new GTM tech and AI tools. Assess integration with existing systems, support contract renewals, and implement emerging solutions with a focus on practical adoption.
What We're Looking For
Advanced proficiency in CRM administration: Salesforce Administrator or HubSpot Administrator certification strongly preferred
Experience connecting marketing automation, CRM, and revenue intelligence tools (e.g., 6sense, Gong, Outreach, Gainsight)
Ability to translate abstract business goals into documented, scalable technical configurations
Strong analytical skills: diagnose data discrepancies, form hypotheses, and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Instinctive troubleshooter: start hypothesizing before problems are fully described
Clear written communicator; documentation is key in our remote-first company
2–4 years in a RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Ops systems role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
Nice to Have
Familiarity with SQL or data warehouse querying (Snowflake, BigQuery) for ad hoc analysis
Experience with AI-assisted workflow automation or prompt-based tooling in a GTM context
Exposure to multi-product or multi-segment GTM motions
Role Fit Considerations
Not a fit if you have used CRM systems extensively but have not owned CRM administration directly. HubSpot is our current CRM.
Not a fit if you prefer strategy and architecture work over hands-on systems ownership.
Not a fit if you need fully specified requirements rather than diagnosing ambiguous issues.
Not a fit if you are looking for a role focused on one GTM function rather than broad partnership across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Ashby
View Company ProfileAshby is a highly disruptive, analytics-first Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and all-in-one recruiting CRM that is fundamentally revolutionizing how high-growth companies hire top talent. Founded in 2018 by Benjamin Encz and Abhik Pramanik (backed by Y Combinator) and headquartered in San Francisco, California, the company was built out of sheer frustration with clunky, legacy hiring platforms. Under the hood, Ashby seamlessly consolidates the entire talent acquisition tech stack—handling everything from automated outbound sourcing and AI-driven candidate screening to complex, high-volume interview scheduling and world-class pipeline analytics. Their primary target audience spans aggressive, growth-stage tech startups and massive mid-market enterprises (including industry heavyweights like Notion, Figma, and Opendoor) that desperately need to make data-driven, million-dollar hiring decisions without workflow friction. What sets Ashby apart in the fiercely competitive HR Tech landscape is its uncompromising "analytics-first" philosophy and deep AI integration across every layer of the product; they do not just track applicants, they empower recruiting teams to operate with the exact same precision, automation, and data visibility as elite performance marketing organizations.
