The Global Talent Co. is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing DTC wellness brand whose mission is to help people live healthier. They are scaling their customer acquisition engine and looking to connect it more tightly to the full customer journey.
About the Role
We're looking for a Growth & Acquisition Marketing Manager to own the client's customer acquisition strategy across paid media and emerging growth channels. You'll manage their paid media agency, set acquisition strategy, guide creative testing, oversee media investment, and ensure every paid dollar is directly tied to DTC growth goals.
The role sits at the center of the digital growth engine, working closely with the Lifecycle & Retention Manager, e-commerce team, creative partners, and agency teams to maintain a seamless customer journey from first impression to purchase and beyond. You'll own strategy, performance accountability, budget planning, reporting, and the business decisions behind paid acquisition.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who understands performance marketing and paid platforms inside and out — analytical, commercially minded, creative, and comfortable pushing back on agency recommendations to maximize media investment.
What You'll Do
Acquisition Strategy
Own acquisition strategy across paid media and emerging growth channels — Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, affiliate, influencer, retail media, and beyond. Build plans that support product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and always-on growth, balancing efficiency, growth, and long-term customer value.
Agency Leadership & Performance Accountability
Own the day-to-day relationship with the paid media agency. Hold them accountable to performance targets, reporting quality, and testing velocity. Review plans, challenge assumptions, and translate agency output into clear decisions for the internal team.
Budget Management & Forecasting
Own paid media budget planning, pacing, and investment recommendations. Build monthly and quarterly plans tied to DTC revenue goals, and monitor CAC, MER, ROAS, and new customer acquisition to keep investment sharp.
Creative Testing & Growth Insights
Build a creative testing roadmap with the agency and creative team. Brief creative needs from customer insights and performance data, and share what's working across email, SMS, website, social, and brand marketing.
Reporting & Analytics
Own weekly and monthly reporting on paid acquisition — new customers, revenue, CAC, MER, ROAS, conversion rate, AOV, payback, and channel performance — and turn the data into business recommendations, not just campaign updates.
Cross-Channel Collaboration
Partner with Lifecycle & Retention, e-commerce, Creative, Brand, Innovation, CX, and Sales to keep acquisition strategy connected to the rest of the business.
What We're Looking For
4+ years in growth, acquisition, performance, or digital marketing
Proven experience managing paid media programs, in-house or through an agency
Experience managing agency relationships and holding partners accountable
Strong grasp of customer acquisition, media investment, and channel strategy
DTC, Shopify, CPG, wellness, beauty, food, or beverage experience strongly preferred
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Strong communicator — can present performance insights and recommendations clearly
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
Technical Skills
Strong command of Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, affiliate, paid social, and paid search
Fluent in acquisition metrics: CAC, MER, ROAS, new customer revenue, conversion rate, AOV, LTV, payback
Experience with GA4, Shopify analytics, ad platform reporting, dashboards, UTMs, pixels, and conversion tracking
Solid budget management and forecasting skills
Experience building testing frameworks across creative, audience, landing page, and channel mix
Who You Are
Passionate about health and wellness. Driven by growth but disciplined about efficiency and profitability. Commercially minded, analytical, and creative — someone who connects marketing activity to revenue outcomes and isn't afraid to challenge an agency's recommendation. A self-starter who moves quickly and takes ownership in a high-growth environment.
