Mindrift is seeking a versatile, highly skilled Graphic Designer with expertise in logo design and visual identity to contribute to the Tendem project. You’ll create high-quality visual assets for real-world use cases, applying your skills in branding, typography, layout, and visual communication to transform ideas into polished creative solutions.

This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for creative professionals with hands-on experience in visual communications, layout design, and diverse marketing materials.

About the Role

As a freelance Graphic Designer, you’ll work across a variety of visual design tasks, with a focus on logo design, brand identity, and visual concept development. Responsibilities include creating layouts, infographics, social media templates, one-pagers, and other marketing assets. You’ll translate brand concepts into clear, distinctive visual solutions while maintaining consistency and craft across formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design distinctive, professional logos and visual identity concepts based on brand requirements and creative briefs.
• Develop multiple logo directions using strong conceptual thinking to create effective visual symbols and systems.
• Apply branding principles across assets to ensure a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
• Create clean layouts, modern infographics, and clear visual hierarchies for readable and engaging content.
• Design reusable templates for social media, marketing materials, and impactful one-pagers.
• Elevate materials through advanced typography, grid systems, and thoughtful composition.
• Transform raw data and concepts into polished visual assets tailored to marketing and communication goals.
• Enforce design quality standards through systematic verification of visual alignment, color usage, and layout consistency.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, digital design, or visual communications.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields is a plus.

Academic and Professional Experience

Candidates must showcase a strong portfolio demonstrating professional graphic design work, with examples of logo design, branding, or visual identity development. A broader portfolio featuring social media graphics, marketing collateral, infographics, and one-pagers is highly valued. Versatility in typography, visual composition, color, and grid systems is essential.

Technical Skills (Essential)

• Proven ability to develop original logo concepts and visual identities.
• Strong understanding of branding principles, typography, color, and visual consistency.
• Exceptional grasp of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for diverse visual tasks.
• Ability to create modern infographics, social media templates, and impactful one-pagers.

• Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher proficiency in English.

Project Time Expectations

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $45 per hour, depending on expertise and workload.
