Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional creative pirate to join our crew as a Graphic Designer (formally known to us as the First Mate of Festoonery). In this hands-on design track, you will hold absolute ownership over maintaining visual cohesion, semantic relevance, and visually compelling layouts across every single consumer touchpoint. Balancing big-picture conceptual brand strategies with pixel-perfect, production-ready design assets, you will build social advertising units, design integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns, and evolve our central identity system without losing creative energy or conversion focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Channel Visual Execution: Translate brand strategy and creative briefs into highly compelling, visually arresting executions across the full marketing mix—including digital assets, social media ad creatives, out-of-home (OOH) media, and e-commerce portals.
- Brand System Stewardship: Maintain, iterate, and systematically scale an existing, robust visual identity system across all touchpoints while ensuring absolute stylistic coherence.
- Collaborative Ideation: Contribute bold, unexpected concepts to creative brainstorming loops, adopting a collaborative framework to elevate visual storytelling.
- Conversion-Focused Engineering: Design high-performing ad variations with a deep, data-informed understanding of how specific layouts drive acquisition and user conversion without compromising aesthetic integrity.
- Vendor & Fleet Management: Direct and partner with external creative assets—including professional photographers, retouchers, freelancers, and media agencies—to safeguard strict brand quality benchmarks.
- Stakeholder Presentations: Clearly communicate and present creative rationales, typographic choices, and layout frameworks to internal stakeholders and organizational leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of verified professional graphic design experience operating within brand-driven, digital-first agency environments or high-growth corporate software platforms.
- Master-level production proficiency navigating industry-standard design tooling ecosystems (specifically Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and generative AI design integrations).
- Impeccable mastery over visual design fundamentals—including advanced typography systems, asymmetric composition, color theory grids, and informational hierarchy.
- Demonstrated tracking background moving seamlessly from abstract initial creative briefs into massive, multi-threaded campaign rollouts.
- Outstanding interpersonal and technical communication skills with a native ability to thrive inside a fast-paced, remote-first workflow structure.
- Location Context: 100% remote working infrastructure flexibility open to qualified design professionals residing strictly within the following approved states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wyoming.

- Annual Base Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 USD (Final allocation calibrated cleanly based on portfolio depth and experience verification audits).
