Job Description
About the Role: Tactacam is a leading innovator in outdoor and action camera technology. We are seeking a Graphic Designer with a mastery of print media and a heavy emphasis on packaging and retail displays. You will bridge the gap between creative concept and physical production, ensuring our products stand out in a competitive market.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of high-impact product packaging, corrugated point-of-purchase (POP) displays, and retail signage.
- Research and specify materials and finishes (spot UV, foil stamping, embossing) to elevate the brand's physical presence.
- Collaborate on dieline creation and structural design, optimizing for durability and the unboxing experience.
- Prepare meticulous, production-ready files and communicate directly with printers to troubleshoot prepress issues.
- Develop detailed product manuals and technical inserts while maintaining brand guidelines.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of professional experience in Graphic Design, specifically focused on Packaging and Print Production.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
- Deep understanding of offset, flexographic, and digital printing, as well as ink behavior on various substrates.
- A "measure twice, cut once" mentality with a keen eye for typography, bleed margins, and registration marks.
Benefits
- Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.
- 401k plan, PTO, Disability Insurance, and Life Insurance.
- Fully remote work flexibility within the United States (excluding AK, CT, DE, MA, NM, and SD).
