Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Manager, Government Pricing, the Government Pricing Analyst role involves reviewing, validating, and reconciling client transactions for government pricing calculations while analyzing variances for Federal Drug Programs such as Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Unit Rebate Amount (URA), Public Health Services (PHS), Average Sales Price (ASP), Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (NFAMP), Federal Ceiling Price (FCP), and Industrial Funding Fee (IFF). Responsibilities include documenting variance analyses, generating customer reporting packages, ensuring timely submission of government price reports, and processing of Tricare rebates. The position also entails coordinating with the government pricing team on deliverable checklists, support with continuous improvement projects and aids on ad hoc projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and reconcile client transactions for government pricing calculations
- Calculate and analyze government pricing variances for the Federal Drug Programs including AMP, BP, URA, PHS, ASP, NFAMP, FCP, and IFF
- Document calculation variance analysis and generate client reporting packages
- Ensure the timely submission of government price reporting
- Process, analyze, and prepare client reporting requirements
- Processes Tricare rebates
- Work with the government pricing team to coordinate client deliverable checklist completion
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Support the Manager, Government Pricing and Medispend team with ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- 1 β 2 years of experience with data analysis preferred government pricing; bachelorβs or associate degree if less than 1 year of experience
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical government pricing calculations and financial software systems
- Problem solving skills and the ability to analyze complex calculations
- Strong business analysis and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create, interpret, and communicate detailed report data
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word
- Ability to work both independently and as a team

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
This position is fully remote, with limited travel that may be required for occasional team meetings, training sessions, or business events. Work is performed primarily in a home-office environment using standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone. Employees are expected to maintain a safe, ergonomic, and confidential workspace with reliable high-speed internet access suitable for professional remote work.
The role generally requires extended periods of sitting, viewing a computer screen, and communicating through written and verbal means. Occasional light physical activity (e.g., lifting materials or equipment up to 20 pounds) may be necessary.
