About Axmed: Axmed is a visionary social impact pioneer on an ambitious mission to democratize healthcare by building a sustainable, demand-aggregation platform for life-saving pharmaceuticals. We believe in a world where everyone, regardless of their nation’s wealth or geographic borders, enjoys uninterrupted access to high-quality medicines and medical treatment. By uniting healthcare providers across Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) to amplify market purchasing power, Axmed eliminates traditional supply barriers and helps international manufacturers build reliable, cost-effective global access strategies to advance international healthcare equity.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, collaborative, and mission-driven Global Health Advisory Associate to join our dedicated healthcare advisory wing under a permanent, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) with a 100% fully remote structure. In this high-leverage strategic consulting seat, you will support international private sectors, NGOs, ministries, and global fund managers by delivering data-driven market access plans and innovative financing models tailored to LMIC contexts. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative transcription loops, entry-level customer call routing, or basic static website adjustments, you will operate an active country-level landscape research, competitive positioning assessment, and strategic value proposition laboratory. Working closely with advisors at all levels, you will transform abstract health datasets into scannable briefs, memos, and high-fidelity presentations. This position requires an operational professional with 3+ years of experience who maps healthcare challenges fluidly natively using Research and market evaluation tools, commands familiarity with healthcare delivery systems, and thrives inside fast-paced start-up settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Landscape Research Governance: Conduct meticulous country-specific and macroeconomic landscape assessments across target low- and middle-income regions to isolate strategic hurdles and positioning gaps natively utilizing Research best practices.
  • Data Telemetry & Insights Synthesis: Analyze complex datasets covering emerging healthcare delivery pipelines, distribution frameworks, and innovative health financing mechanics to build actionable data-driven reports.
  • Go-To-Market Instrumentation: Support senior leadership in drafting competitive market access blueprints, product value propositions, and rollout launch strategies tailored to clinical conditions inside LMIC regions.
  • Client and Advisory Stakeholder Syncing: Contribute directly to the production of high-quality deliverables—including corporate board presentations, diagnostic summaries, and briefing memos—for executive global health partners.
  • Ecosystem Tracking & Analysis: Monitor shifting stakeholder insights, policy revisions, and emerging regulatory trends across global health funds, pharma corporations, and ministries of health.
  • Work Package Ownership: Take proactive architectural ownership over assigned consulting assignments, structuring collaborative workflows and presenting solutions to the core squad.
  • Advisory Practice Optimization: Design, maintain, and upgrade internal operational toolkits, including framework trackers, presentation templates, and routine strategy rituals to help scale the consulting vertical.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a formal Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Public Health, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related healthcare-focused discipline (a Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate validation is highly preferred).
  • A minimum of 3+ years of proven, successful professional history operating inside a Management Consulting Firm, Global Health NGO, Life Sciences Unit, Pharmaceutical Corporate cell, or Healthcare Investment fund with direct exposure to LMIC environments.
  • Expert Research and Synthesis Command: Verifiable history extracting, parsing, and structured-mapping complex commercial or clinical information into clear, highly logical insights.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives or co-selling workflows involving public sectors (such as ministries, NGOs, international global health funders, or vaccine/diagnostic distributors).
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation communication strengths in English, with an established history presenting solutions clearly to cross-functional engineering and non-technical business leads.
  • Contract Conditions & Context: Position operates strictly under a temporary 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract framework, with possibilities for performance-based growth tracks.
  • Location Context: Position operates under 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified global health analysts residing permanently within the United Kingdom, Ghana (Accra), Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior technical or delivery background analyzing supply-chain metrics specifically for essential medicines, children’s vaccines, or distributed diagnostic kits.
  • Familiarity with innovative health financing systems, risk-pooling models, or public-private funding integrations.
  • An adaptable, entrepreneurial startup drive combined with structured consulting discipline, allowing you to execute reliably amidst changing account directions.

What We Offer

  • Competitive International Social Impact Remuneration: A highly competitive annual base salary package customized to your global health consulting trajectory, supplemented by comprehensive equipment allocations.
  • 100% absolute remote workspace infrastructure autonomy anywhere inside our verified country hubs (UK, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa), eliminating corporate physical transit friction.
  • Front-Row Global Equity Footprint: Elite career milestones achieved by engineering the foundational market access strategies that bring critical, high-quality pharmaceuticals within reach of millions across developing markets.
  • Access to a highly generous Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to support your work-life balance and allow you to recharge completely without added corporate stress.
  • Comprehensive employee support frameworks featuring a monthly provided wellness allowance, paid parental bonding leave options, highly flexible working hour structures, and annual global team off-site retreats to forge deep, lasting professional relationships.
